The large castle breakfast platter is lovingly prepared and served at the table.
Ham, a variety of cheeses, fruit and vegetables, freshly made scrambled eggs, many organic products or products from our own production are prepared. In the basket: bread and pastries.
Also included are unlimited coffee and tea, juices, jams and a croissant.
This breakfast is served during the high season.
In the low and shoulder season, or due to similarly very favorable overnight prices (up to € 65 per person per night), the small castle breakfast is served. This includes
a cup of very good coffee or tea, 1 glass of orange juice, bread, a roll, butter, jam, honey and a soft-boiled egg.
Breakfast only (without staying overnight) is also gladly possible with prior registration:
daily from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., the LARGE CASTLE BREAKFAST is served at a price of € 35 per person.

Thinking about your next birthday celebration?
In the south wing there are two very cozy event rooms, the Dining Room and the Fireplace Room. Lively celebrations are frequently hosted here for guests. A Stingl piano is also available here!
It is ideal for groups of up to around 25 guests.
The following can be arranged: after a welcome aperitif in the castle courtyard, an entertaining yet very interesting guided tour of the house, from the Merovingians and Carolingians, from Emperor Arnulf to Empress Elisabeth and the story of her Mistress of the Robes, Marie Countess Goëss. This is accompanied by highlights from the exceptionally beautiful collection of etchings and copper engravings in the house. Afterwards, guests are invited to the south wing to enjoy 130 wonderful sandwiches – see above. This is followed by a birthday cake with suitable fine drinks, and a relaxed get-together.

Music for the celebration can also be arranged. There are excellent contacts with student musicians at the Gustav Mahler Private University for Music in Klagenfurt and the hosts are also happy to sing themselves.

Guests are also gladly advised and given tips on food and drink in the best restaurants, inns, wine taverns and venues near and far!
These include, for example, the “Dammwirt an den Teichen”, especially recommended because of its proximity, just a 3‑minute walk through the old castle garden, the wine tavern “Falkner”, the “Grössingwirt” in Ponfeld, the “Kollerwirt” in Tanzenberg, the “Kochwerkstatt” at the Benedictine Market in Klagenfurt and many, many more...
